What does Shaina mean?

This question has been asked of me multiple times. And I tell them the usual reply - "I don't know". LOL.

Seriously, when I was really young (think Elementary school), I never did know why my parents named me Shaina. It was when I was nearing 10 or 11 that I found out what it really means - both etymologically and my parents' thought.
